A well-established packaging and containers manufacturing company in Karachi, equipped with advanced plate-making and exposing facilities and utilizing state-of-the-art European printing machines from Heidelberg, Germany, is looking to hire a proactive Sales Associate. The ideal candidate will have over two years of experience in the packaging industry and will be responsible for generating new client leads primarily through cold calling and other outreach methods. This role involves maintaining an accurate client database and nurturing relationships through consistent follow-ups to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Lead generation is a primary focus, requiring the use of cold calling and other outreach strategies to identify and engage potential clients within Karachi. The Sales Associate will introduce prospects to the company’s printing and packaging solutions and work to convert interest into business opportunities. Maintaining an up-to-date and accurate client database is essential, including recording all client interactions, inquiries, and follow-up actions to ensure data integrity and easy accessibility. Regular follow-ups with both potential and existing clients are necessary to sustain interest, address queries, and provide additional information that supports purchasing decisions.

Supporting the Sales Manager is another important responsibility. The Sales Associate will provide generated leads and assist with initial client engagement stages, preparing detailed reports on lead generation activities and outcomes for management review. Collaboration with the sales team is expected to refine lead generation strategies and improve client engagement processes. Active participation in team meetings to discuss targets and strategies is also part of the role.

Staying informed about industry trends and competitor activities within Karachi through regular market research is crucial. The insights gained will help adjust lead generation tactics to remain competitive. Additionally, the Sales Associate may occasionally represent the company at industry events and trade shows to network with potential clients and promote products.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have a minimum of two years of proven sales experience within the packaging industry. Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail are essential for managing client data and follow-up activities effectively. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is necessary to prepare reports and maintain records.
