Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Research Manager with a strong focus on Data Analytics and Reporting. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving data analysis, developing interactive dashboards, and delivering high-quality business presentations that support strategic decision-making. This position demands advanced technical skills in Power BI, Excel, and SQL, along with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for management and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards using Power BI to provide real-time business insights. Develop advanced Excel models, trackers, and automated reports leveraging Power Query and Power Pivot to increase reporting efficiency. Prepare detailed, structured, and visually compelling PowerPoint presentations for management reporting and business reviews. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support business strategies. Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and reporting purposes. Translate complex data findings into clear storytelling to facilitate business decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, and Operations to support various strategic initiatives. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting performance gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Automate and streamline reporting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability across all reports and dashboards.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field. Three to six years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Reporting roles. Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, dashboard creation, and automation. Strong expertise in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard development. Proven experience in creating high-quality PowerPoint presentations tailored for business reporting. Solid SQL skills for querying and manipulating data efficiently. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Ability to convert complex data into clear, concise business narratives. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate across teams.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Competencies
Demonstrated skills in data storytelling and presentation to influence business decisions. Strong business acumen with an understanding of key business drivers. Ownership and accountability in managing multiple reports and projects simultaneously. Excellent time management skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Experience Requirements
A minimum of two years of hands-on experience with Power BI, Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.

Work Location
