Transparency International Pakistan, a leading chapter of Transparency International based in Karachi, is dedicated to combating corruption and promoting transparency across Pakistan. The organization seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Coordinator to support various project activities. This role involves assisting in workshop organization, managing databases, designing advocacy materials, and contributing to research and program evaluation efforts. The ideal candidate will have a relevant bachelor's degree, 1-2 years of experience in the social development sector, and strong skills in writing, research, and communication. While this position does not include managing a team, it requires the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and meet tight deadlines. The Assistant Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting Transparency International Pakistans mission by enabling effective program implementation and external engagement. This position demands a proactive individual who can multitask, analyze data accurately, and contribute to report writing. Familiarity with governance and anti-corruption issues in Pakistan is essential to ensure advocacy materials and communications align with organizational goals. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel completes the profile of this candidate, who will help maintain the standards of quality and transparency in all project related activities.
Responsibilities
 

  • Assist in organizing workshops and events by coordinating logistics and participant communication.
  • Maintain and update project databases to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Design and develop advocacy materials focused on relevant laws and regulations to raise awareness.
  • Conduct research, analyze data, and assist in drafting reports to support project monitoring and evaluation.
  • Support program monitoring by collecting feedback, tracking progress, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate communication and external engagement efforts through effective interpersonal interaction.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and compliance with deadlines.
  • Assist in compiling and maintaining documentation related to project activities for transparency and record-keeping.
  • Apply strong writing and analytical skills to produce clear and concise content for diverse audiences.
  • Use MS Word and Excel proficiently to create presentations, reports, and data summaries.
  • Adapt quickly to changing project requirements and prioritize tasks to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of governance and anti-corruption issues within Pakistan to contribute meaningfully to advocacy efforts.
