Assistant Compliance Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Social Compliance Officer to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that all documentation and processes related to social compliance and transaction certificates are accurate and meet relevant regulations. This position involves close collaboration with clients and internal teams to uphold high compliance standards and support operational policies within the textile industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Verify and review documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare Transaction Certificates (TCs) efficiently and accurately.
- Coordinate with clients to gather all necessary documentation required for processing TCs.
- Conduct internal social compliance audits, site inspections, and ongoing monitoring activities.
- Prepare detailed reports on non-compliance issues, maintain comprehensive records, and ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Assist in the development, updating, and implementation of HR and operational policies.
- Manage external, third-party, and client-driven compliance audits effectively.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Social Compliance Officer, preferably within the textile industry.
- Strong understanding of social compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to conduct audits and inspections with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders, including clients and internal teams.
- Knowledge of local labor laws, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
