Operations Officer

Position Summary

The Operations Officer will support daily fund operations, trade processing, settlements, reconciliations, and reporting activities. The role requires coordination with fund managers, clients, banks, brokers, and counterparties to ensure accurate and timely execution of transactions while maintaining compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify the completeness and accuracy of Money Market and Equity transactions entered by Fund Managers.
• Perform transaction verification activities for assigned funds.
• Coordinate with clients for deal confirmations.
• Liaise with banks, brokers, custodians, and counterparties to ensure timely settlement of trades.
• Reconcile fund portfolios with CDS, IPS, and other relevant statements.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and regulatory returns.
• Operate and maintain records on electronic platforms including Back Office Systems, CDC, NCCPL, and banking portals.
• Investigate and resolve operational discrepancies and reconciliation breaks.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and operational procedures.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in fund operations, back-office operations, or financial services.
• Knowledge of CDC, NCCPL, CDS, IPS, and settlement processes will be preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
