Job Description

Infotech is seeking a skilled Technical Consultant with a minimum of three years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate has robust hands-on experience with development technologies, particularly Java, and in-depth knowledge of database management and optimization techniques. This role demands expertise in system integration utilizing IBM MQ or equivalent middleware solutions to ensure reliable and efficient communication between diverse systems. The successful applicant will be proficient in deploying and configuring various application servers such as WebLogic, WebSphere, and Tomcat, while also capable of managing SSL/TLS certificate deployment to maintain secure environments. In this position, the Technical Consultant will play a crucial role in executing System Integration Testing (SIT) to verify flawless interactions among external systems, and actively participate during the Go-Live phase, ensuring smooth deployment and stable system performance post-implementation. Responsibilities include preparing detailed technical documentation, including Technical Requirement Specifications, Technical Solution Documents, and formalizing deployment guides. The role requires close collaboration with enterprise architecture, information security, and data governance teams to validate solutions adhere to company standards. Experience with Fusion Trade Innovation (FTI) and Fusion Corporate Channel (FCC) products in terms of customization, configuration, integration, and technical support will be considered an advantage. This is an individual contributor role with no team management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
 

• Develop and maintain software applications using Java and other relevant development technologies.
• Configure and optimize Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2 databases to enhance performance and query efficiency.
• Manage system integration tasks through IBM MQ or similar messaging middleware to achieve reliable and secure system communication.
• Create, optimize, and sustain reports, SQL queries, and database views to improve accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Perform deployment activities across various application servers including WebLogic, WebSphere, and Tomcat, aligned with infrastructure requirements.
• Implement SSL/TLS certificate deployments on WebLogic and WebSphere servers to ensure secure communication channels.
• Conduct comprehensive System Integration Testing (SIT) to validate the correct interfacing of external systems and troubleshoot integration issues.
• Support Go-Live activities by overseeing deployments, providing responsive troubleshooting, and maintaining system stability and performance.
• Prepare and continuously update technical documentation, including Technical Requirement Specifications (TRS), Technical Solution Documents (TSD), and deployment guides to maintain clarity and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Validate and ensure all technological solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards, information security protocols, and data governance policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Fusion Trade Innovation (FTI) and Fusion Corporate Channel (FCC) products through customization, configuration, integration, and ongoing technical assistance.
• Provide technical support and problem resolution for middleware and database-related challenges, emphasizing reliability and performance.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve integration and deployment strategies.
