GSF Services SMC PVT LTD is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Import and Export Executives to join our team based in Karachi at I I Chundrigar Road. The successful candidates will have at least one year of experience working within a freight forwarder and customs broker environment. This role is pivotal in managing the entire import and export process by coordinating shipments, handling documentation, and ensuring timely delivery for our clients. Candidates must be able to commute during working hours of 12:00 noon to 10:00 PM. Both males and females are encouraged to apply. Additional training will be provided to strengthen your expertise and enhance your operational skills. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating shipments via air, sea, and road freight, communicating effectively with carriers and transport partners, and managing the necessary logistics documentation to guarantee seamless operations. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to organize transport schedules, resolve challenges promptly, and maintain accurate records. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a problem-solving mindset to succeed in a fast-paced logistics environment. Candidates will not be managing a team but will play an essential role in facilitating smooth freight forwarding processes.
Responsibilities
 

  • Coordinate end-to-end import and export shipment operations to ensure efficient processing and delivery.
  • Book, schedule, and manage transportation for inbound and outbound shipments across air, sea, and road freight modes.
  • Liaise consistently with carriers, freight forwarders, and transport companies to guarantee timely shipment deliveries.
  • Organize all necessary logistics documentation including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork to comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Track and monitor shipments at every stage, proactively resolving delays or disruptions to maintain delivery schedules.
  • Negotiate transport rates and freight costs with service providers to optimize logistics expenses.
  • Work collaboratively with suppliers to coordinate and optimize delivery schedules aligning with operational requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all freight bookings, shipment statuses, and documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to promote cohesive and streamlined operations across departments.
  • Demonstrate a customer-focused approach by promptly addressing shipment issues and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
