Senior Accountant

Job Description

Sun Hance Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee the financial operations and reporting of the company. The role requires managing and supervising the accounts department's daily functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. You will ensure precise financial management through accurate preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. This role demands a strong focus on tax and regulatory compliance to guarantee full adherence to local tax laws and regulations. You will handle tax filings, audits, and communications with tax authorities to maintain legal and financial integrity. In this role, you will lead a team of 2 accounting professionals while enhancing internal workflows and efficiencies. You will also play a crucial role in treasury and vendor management by monitoring payments, bank reconciliations, and managing commercial banking activities such as letters of credit and import documentation. This position requires diligent maintenance and optimization of the companys ERP system to support accurate financial data and collaboration with other departments for streamlined cost accounting and inventory tracking.
Responsibilities
 

• Supervise daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes ensuring timely and error-free financial reporting.
• Prepare detailed and accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports to support executive management decision-making.
• Ensure full compliance with local tax laws and regulations, including corporate tax, withholding tax, and sales tax filing requirements.
• Manage the digital uploading of sales invoices into tax compliance software and resolve systemic compliance errors promptly.
• Handle tax audits, regulatory inquiries, and correspondence with tax authorities to maintain adherence to statutory requirements.
• Monitor vendor aging reports and process outgoing payments according to agreed credit terms, maintaining strong vendor relations.
• Oversee bank reconciliations, cash handling procedures, and daily fund monitoring to safeguard company assets.
• Coordinate commercial banking transactions including export/import documentation, letters of credit issuance, and foreign remittance compliance.
• Lead and mentor a team of 2 accounting professionals, providing clear task delegation and performance evaluations to foster a productive work environment.
• Maintain, update, and optimize the ERP system such as SAP B1, ensuring accurate master data, bills of materials (BOM), and financial records.
• Collaborate with supply chain, factory operations, and sales teams to improve cost accounting accuracy and inventory tracking.
• Implement internal controls and continuous improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and data integrity.
