Group Head IT

Job Description

The Group Head IT will lead critical projects related to automation, system integration, and manufacturing digitalization, focusing on optimizing sales force operations and advancing manufacturing excellence. They will spearhead the implementation of AI-based technologies to improve business operations and maintain a secure and well-governed IT environment. The ideal candidate holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science or IT and possesses strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills framed by professional integrity and a presentable demeanor. Experience and certifications in project management, information security management, and enterprise IT governance will further support success in this pivotal role at Kaizen Paints.

Must have minimum 15 years of core IT Experience, with a minimum of 5 years as Head of IT Department / CIO. 

Responsibilities
 

• Develop, implement, and continuously update the company’s IT strategy to support business goals and ensure technological advancement.
• Lead the IT department, managing a team of three IT professionals while fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Establish and enforce IT governance frameworks, security policies, and monitoring controls to safeguard company data and infrastructure.
• Oversee cloud computing administration across multiple platforms including AWS, Azure, GCP, and Huawei Cloud to optimize cloud resources and costs.
• Manage and enhance company-wide ERP systems, specifically MS D365 modules such as Master Data Governance, Sales Process Controls, Budgeting, Master Planning, and Warehouse Management.
• Direct integration projects linking production machines with core ERP systems and Human Machine Interfaces to streamline manufacturing processes.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of custom applications, including field force management and manufacturing-specific digitalization tools.
• Drive automation and system integration initiatives to improve operational efficiency and support digital transformation across sales and manufacturing functions.
• Implement AI-driven projects aimed at enhancing business operations, productivity, and decision-making processes.
• Coordinate the development and maintenance of a centralized data warehouse on MS Azure / Fabric and create insightful MS Power BI dashboards for business analysis.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards, conducting regular audits and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify IT needs, propose solutions, and manage project delivery within scope, time, and budget.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry best practices relevant to the company’s IT landscape.
• Promote a culture of professional integrity, high ethical standards, and continuous improvement within the IT function.
