Job Description

Zeenat Carpet seeks a proactive Business Development Executive with at least two years of experience to drive growth in the interior, carpets, and rugs industry. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong skills in lead generation, sales negotiation, and client relationship management, supported by a basic understanding of design and price quotations. This role involves regular field work and direct interaction with potential clients to effectively showcase products and secure new business opportunities. The position requires a target-oriented mindset and excellent communication abilities to represent Zeenat Carpet's brand and offerings confidently. In addition to individual responsibilities, the Business Development Executive will lead and manage a team of three professionals, ensuring cohesive collaboration, setting performance goals, and fostering a productive work environment. The executive will guide the team in achieving sales targets and enhancing client acquisition strategies while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of market trends and customer needs within the industry. The role demands a hands-on approach to product demonstrations and price negotiations along with strong organizational skills using basic MS Excel tools to track progress and forecast sales pipelines.
Responsibilities
 

  • Identify and generate quality leads through research, networking, and market analysis to expand the customer base.
  • Develop and deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations highlighting the features and benefits of carpets and rugs.
  • Drive sales by effectively negotiating with clients on price, terms, and quotations to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Conduct regular field visits to meet potential and existing clients, understand their requirements, and offer tailored solutions.
  • Manage client relationships by maintaining consistent communication and providing exceptional customer service to build long-term loyalty.
  • Lead a team of three members by delegating tasks, setting clear goals, and monitoring performance to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as design and production to provide accurate product information and resolve client inquiries.
  • Utilize basic MS Excel to track sales activities, maintain client records, and prepare sales reports for management review.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of product pricing, quotations, and cost structures to support transparent and effective client negotiations.
  • Enhance the aesthetic appeal of product presentations by applying basic design principles and leveraging product knowledge.
  • Maintain a proactive and target-oriented approach to meet and surpass sales objectives consistently.
