Warehouse Lead

Prime Human Resource Services (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a skilled Warehouse Lead to oversee and optimize warehouse operations with a focus on inventory accuracy and process efficiency. The ideal candidate will manage a team of 10 persons, guiding and coaching warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to set targets. You will take charge of inbound operations including receiving, scanning, and storage while strictly following FIFO compliance to maintain optimal stock flow and accuracy. Your role will be central in driving the use of warehouse digitization tools such as WMS and SAP, enhancing operational efficiency and data integrity. As the Warehouse Lead, you will coordinate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Procurement, Planning, and Quality to ensure smooth warehouse functions and timely order fulfillment. Maintaining a stock accuracy level of 98% and achieving on-time in-full (OTIF) delivery targets are key performance indicators for this role. The position requires a strong understanding of supply chain management principles, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to solve problems effectively within a dynamic warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
 

• Lead and supervise a warehouse team of 10, providing coaching and performance management to improve operational efficiency.
• Oversee all inbound warehouse activities such as receiving, scanning, and proper storage of goods following FIFO compliance to ensure freshness and reduce waste.
• Implement and promote the use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP to digitize warehouse processes, improving accuracy and throughput.
• Maintain inventory accuracy at or above 98% by enforcing strict inventory control procedures and conducting regular cycle counts.
• Ensure achievement of on-time in-full (OTIF) delivery goals by closely monitoring order fulfillment processes and managing workflow.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Operations, Procurement, Planning, and Quality to streamline warehouse operations and resolve issues promptly.
• Manage and prevent defective or short-received materials by establishing checks and maintaining quality controls throughout inbound processing.
• Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for continuous process improvements in warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements within the warehouse environment.
• Utilize ERP and Inventory Management Systems to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and facilitate inventory replenishment accurately.
• Prepare reports related to inventory status, operational performance, and team productivity for review by senior management.
• Provide clear and timely communication within the warehouse team and to relevant stakeholders to support operational transparency and efficiency.
