ABOUT THE ROLE
Codebase Technologies is looking for a Technical Recruiter to support its engineering and delivery organization in Pakistan — an established and rapidly growing team across software engineering, product delivery, and QA.
In this role, you will own end-to-end recruitment, from job posting to candidate onboarding. Partnering closely with engineering managers and the HR Business Partner, you will build and maintain a high-quality, consistent talent pipeline that meets the standards and pace of a scaling fintech SaaS company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Strategy
Own end-to-end recruitment for technical roles, including software engineers (.NET, Flutter, mobile, QA), Technical Product Analysts, and Delivery Leads
Proactively build and maintain talent pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, local job boards (Rozee.pk, Mustakbil), and referral programmes
Design and execute targeted sourcing campaigns for niche or hard-to-fill technical positions
Maintain an engaged network of passive candidates aligned with Codebase’s core technology stack and fintech domain
Support employer branding initiatives through job ad copywriting, social media presence, and university outreach programs
Candidate Screening & Assessment
Conduct structured preliminary screening to evaluate technical background, communication skills, cultural alignment, and compensation fit
Coordinate with the engineering and product teams for technical assessments and interviews
Partner with hiring managers to define role-specific screening criteria and competency-based assessment frameworks
Develop and maintain structured evaluation scorecards that provide standardized shortlisting summaries to hiring managers
Offer Management & Compensation
Lead candidate salary negotiations transparently and persuasively, balancing candidate expectations with organizational budget and band structures
Collaborate with HRBP and Finance on offer approvals, compensation benchmarking inputs, and workforce planning
Hiring Operations & Onboarding
Manage the full recruitment workflow within the ATS — job posting, candidate tracking, interview scheduling, feedback capture, and offer processing
Ensure brand-positive candidate experience from the first outreach until joining
Support pre-boarding and onboarding coordination to ensure a seamless transition from offer accepted to day one
Data Management & Reporting
Maintain an accurate hiring tracker to support real-time requisition visibility and stakeholder updates
Track and analyze offer acceptance, decline reasons, and negotiation trends to continuously refine compensation and closing strategies
Monitor and report on key recruitment metrics: time-to-fill, source of hire, offer acceptance rate, pipeline conversion, and drop-off points by stage
Maintain data integrity within the ATS, ensuring all candidate interactions, feedback, and status changes are updated consistently
Generate weekly or monthly recruitment dashboards for engineering leadership and HRBP, highlighting progress against headcount plans
Monitor candidate dropout patterns to identify bottlenecks in the interview or offer process and recommend process improvements
Maintain confidentiality and compliance with data protection practices regarding candidate information and offer details
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Experience
Minimum 5 years of recruitment experience, with at least 3 years primarily in technical hiring
Prior experience recruiting for software engineering roles within a technology company, SaaS business, or fintech organization
Proven ability to independently manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously across different technical teams
Technical Recruiting Knowledge
Able to understand technical job descriptions and accurately screen candidates against stacks such as .NET, Flutter, React, Node.js, and cloud platforms
Experienced in conducting technical screening to assess candidate competence without dependence on hiring managers
Proficient with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search and alternative sourcing channels/search techniques
Hands-on experience with ATS platforms (Workable, Greenhouse, Lever, or equivalent)
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong written and verbal communication in English — able to represent Codebase professionally to senior candidates
Highly organized with a process-driven mindset — capable of managing high-volume pipelines without compromising candidate quality
Data driven — able to generate and interpret pipeline reports, hiring dashboards, tracking metrics like time-to-fill, source effectiveness, conversion rates
Skilled in offer negotiation, including handling counter offers and competing processes with confidence and market data
Nice to Have
Experience hiring for fintech, digital banking, or enterprise SaaS companies
Strong knowledge of the Pakistan tech talent landscape, market salary ranges and current hiring trends
Exposure to compensation benchmarking tools (Mercer, Korn Ferry, or local market data)
Experience supporting employer branding or campus recruitment programes.
