Maintenance Engineer

Vivo Pakistan is seeking a diligent and technically skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering to join our team in Karachi. The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and possess excellent communication skills, enabling effective and professional interactions with customers and distributors. This role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing mobile phones sent by customers, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction through exceptional service and timely communication. Although this position does not include team management responsibilities, the Maintenance Engineer will closely support the management team to enhance operational performance and address technical challenges proactively. The Maintenance Engineer maintains in-depth knowledge of specialized materials and technical documentation related to mobile phone technologies, enabling them to resolve complex issues efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach in responding to customer queries, providing technical support, and assisting in various tasks to improve service delivery. The Maintenance Engineer will also take initiative to cover for service consultants as needed, ensuring uninterrupted service excellence. Responsibilities
 

• Receive and manage mobile phones sent by customers or distributors for repair, ensuring timely and accurate handling of all devices.
• Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on repair status and address any queries or concerns professionally.
• Study and apply specialized materials and guidance documents related to mobile phone technologies to perform precise troubleshooting and repairs.
• Meet customer demands for products and services by delivering high-quality maintenance and repair solutions.
• Assist management personnel, including the manager, director, and executives, in completing various tasks aimed at improving overall performance and service quality.
• Provide timely feedback on technical issues encountered during repair processes and track the results to implement improvements.
• Answer professional and technical questions from customers, ensuring clarity and satisfaction in all communications.
• Temporarily fill in for the service consultant during their absence or busy periods to maintain smooth service operations.
• Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by the Director, contributing to the efficiency and success of the maintenance department.
• Maintain strong documentation and reporting practices to support continuous improvement and service excellence at Vivo Pakistan.
