EFU Life Assurance Ltd is seeking an experienced Sales Manager specializing in Retirement Solutions to lead a team of 10 professionals in delivering outstanding retirement planning services tailored to corporate clients and individual investors. This role requires a deep understanding of voluntary pension schemes, retirement planning strategies, mutual funds, and the regulatory frameworks governing these products. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive knowledge and proven sales expertise to develop effective sales strategies, drive business growth, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. They will champion the creation and execution of innovative sales initiatives, ensuring EFU Life Assurance Ltd remains a trusted leader in retirement solutions. The Sales Manager will play a critical role in analyzing market trends, evaluating financial needs, and negotiating contracts to facilitate optimal retirement benefit offerings. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to manage high-value client portfolios and maintain strong business relationships. The ideal candidate will exhibit excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, coupled with a solid track record of exceeding sales targets within the financial services industry. IFMP certification is required to ensure the highest professional standards in pension and retirement product sales. The candidate will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding their team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability that supports both individual and organizational success.
Responsibilities
 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies focused on retirement and voluntary pension schemes to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 10 sales professionals, providing coaching and performance feedback to optimize team productivity and professionalism.
  • Conduct thorough financial needs analyses of potential clients to recommend suitable retirement planning solutions and voluntary pension products.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for voluntary pension schemes and ensure all sales processes adhere to these standards.
  • Engage with corporate clients and individual investors through effective communication, presentations, and negotiations to close sales and secure long-term relationships.
  • Perform detailed market research and data interpretation to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends within the retirement solutions sector.
  • Utilize pension scheme reporting software and sales forecasting tools to monitor pipeline activities, forecast sales performance, and prepare relevant business reports.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design tailored pension products that meet client needs while mitigating associated risks through rigorous risk assessment.
  • Manage and grow high-value client portfolios, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction to foster loyalty and referrals.
  • Continuously update knowledge of industry developments, competitors' offerings, and regulatory changes to effectively position EFU Life Assurance Ltd in the marketplace
