Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Technician-ASM at Synergy Corporation, located in Karachi Division. The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for performing and overseeing equipment maintenance, conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and carrying out maintenance and repairs as needed. The role is critical for ensuring the reliable operation of power generation equipment and other assigned responsibilities.


 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide field service and customer support during on-site visits.
  • Manage all on-site mechanical repair and maintenance activities within the assigned territory, and conduct client demonstrations when required.
  • Diagnose mechanical faults and technical issues and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Prepare timely and detailed service reports for each visit.
  • Prepare and submit work orders, expense reports, and timesheets to the relevant departments.
  • Collaborate with technical team members and share updates with management.
  • Evaluate products for maintenance requirements, warranty claims, upgrades, and other service needs.
  • Work closely with the technical team to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Perform root cause analysis before implementing solutions.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical services accordingly.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and diagnose technical problems effectively.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff in complex cases.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering high-quality service.
  • Respond to customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare and distribute maintenance records, warranty documentation, installation reports, and other service-related documents to senior management.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping and maintenance of equipment.
  • Advise management on continued use or replacement of unsuitable equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
  • Liaise with coordinators regarding equipment-related matters.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Mechanical
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in ASM (After Sales Maintenance)
  • Strong hands-on experience in Genset troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Field service experience preferred
