Pakistan Wire Industries Pvt Ltd is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Treasury & Trade Finance to oversee and control all import-based financing transactions along with bank-related financial flows. This role demands thorough accuracy, adherence to compliance standards, and effective coordination with banking partners to optimize financial operations. The ideal candidate possesses expertise in trade finance instruments and banking relationship management, with solid experience in treasury management systems and transaction controls. This role includes leading a small team, requiring leadership skills to guide and support team members in delivering precise and timely financial processes. The Assistant Manager will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of trade finance documentation and compliance processes, ensuring that all bank reconciliations and validations are meticulously handled. The position requires hands-on involvement in managing treasury transactions, resolving discrepancies, and supporting business goals through strong financial controls. With a minimum of three years of relevant experience, the candidate will demonstrate strong analytical ability and operational excellence to uphold the company’s financial standards and enhance banking interactions.

Responsibilities
 

• Manage and control all import-based financing transactions ensuring timely processing and accuracy.
• Oversee bank-related financial flows, including reconciliation, transaction control, and validation of financial data.
• Maintain compliance with trade finance documentation requirements in line with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
• Coordinate closely with banking partners to foster effective banking relationship management and optimize financial services.
• Use Treasury Management Systems (TMS) to track, analyze, and report treasury transactions and activities.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
• Lead and mentor a team of two persons, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to achieve objectives.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth financial operations and reduce risks.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in treasury and trade finance operations.
• Monitor compliance with corporate and regulatory standards in all banking and trade finance activities.
• Prepare and present reports related to treasury and trade finance performance to senior management.
• Support the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies within treasury functions.
• Stay updated with industry best practices, banking regulations, and market trends relevant to trade finance and treasury management.
