We are seeking a highly competent and strategic person to serve as Senior Manager Corporate Finance. This role will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, managing and optimizing the company’s investment portfolio, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving long-term financial strategy and growth.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Leadership & Strategy
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company objectives.
Advise the CEO and Board on financial planning, risk management, and growth opportunities.
Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.
Monitor cash flow, capital structure, and funding requirements.
2. Investment Portfolio Management
Manage and oversee the company’s investment portfolio (equities, fixed income, private investments, etc.).
Conduct financial analysis, due diligence, and risk assessments for new investment opportunities.
Optimize portfolio allocation to maximize returns while minimizing risk.
Monitor market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes impacting investments.
Prepare periodic performance reports and present investment analysis to the Board.
3. Financial Reporting & Compliance
Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS / local GAAP).
Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
Maintain strong internal controls and financial governance frameworks.
4. Risk Management & Internal Controls
Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Establish and monitor internal control systems.
Oversee treasury operations and banking relationships.
Ensure proper documentation and transparency in all financial matters.
5. Team Leadership & Systems
Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
Improve financial systems, ERP implementation, and reporting automation.
Drive operational efficiency and cost control initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Skills
MBA Accounts / Finance or ACCA Article ship
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and corporate taxation.
Proven experience in investment analysis and portfolio management.
Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and presentation abilities.
High integrity, strategic mindset, and decision-making capability.
