Hirestaff is seeking an expert Senior Financial Auditor on behalf of our client, a premier US-based professional services firm. This is a high-impact, virtual position designed for a seasoned auditor who can navigate the complexities of US GAAP and PCAOB/AICPA standards from a remote setting in Pakistan.

About the Role

You will be integrated into a high-performing US audit team, taking ownership of audit workpapers and ensuring compliance through advanced audit software.

Responsibilities

• Audit Management: Lead and execute virtual audit procedures for US entities, ensuring all work adheres to US GAAP and GAAS.
• CCH Mastery: Perform day-to-day audit tasks using CCH Axcess Engagement or ProSystem fx (Trial balance imports, lead sheets, and workpaper documentation).
• Quality Review: Review financial statements and disclosures to ensure they meet US regulatory reporting requirements.
• Substantive Testing: Conduct rigorous testing of accounts, including complex revenue recognition, lease accounting (ASC 842), and financial instruments.
• Remote Liaison: Work closely with the US engagement team to resolve open items and provide status updates during US business hours.
