Accounting Manager (EY, KPMG, PwC, or Deloitte Experienced)

This is a full time, remote and permanent role as per the US Central timezone

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with prior experience at a Big 4 or similar professional services firm (e.g., EY, KPMG, PwC, or Deloitte). The ideal candidate will combine strong traditional accounting expertise with a forward-thinking mindset, including experience or interest in using AI tools and building automated accounting dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.

This role is ideal for someone who is not only technically strong in accounting principles but is also eager to modernize financial processes through automation, analytics, and AI-powered tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and financial close processes.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable standards (IFRS/GAAP).
• Design, build, and maintain interactive accounting and financial dashboards for real-time reporting and performance tracking.
• Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline reporting, reduce manual work, and improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to support leadership in strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper financial controls and data integrity across systems.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies.
• Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes, systems, and reporting structures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–6+ years of professional accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years at a Big 4 or similar firm (EY, KPMG, PwC, Deloitte, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Hands-on experience with financial reporting tools, ERP systems, and advanced Excel.
• Demonstrated experience or strong interest in using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, automation platforms) to improve accounting workflows.
• Experience building or managing financial dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA (completed or in progress).
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth, or tech-enabled environments.
• Familiarity with data visualization, SQL, or data modeling concepts.
• Experience implementing or improving accounting systems and reporting frameworks.
