Quality Control and Inventory Executive

Job Description

Biocos International Pvt Ltd, a leading manufacturer and exporter in the cosmetics industry, seeks a dedicated Quality Control and Inventory Executive for its Export Division located at Sundar Industrial Estate, Lahore. This role involves managing and ensuring the quality of raw materials and finished goods while maintaining accurate inventory records. The executive will supervise quality inspections, control stock movements through a barcode scanning system, and support inventory reconciliation with a focus on regulatory compliance and documentation integrity. The position requires managing a small team, maintaining strict processes that prevent unauthorized stock movement, and supporting the consistent operation of the supply chain within a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree preferably in Science, Quality Assurance, or Supply Chain, with 1 to 3 years of experience in quality control, inventory, or warehouse management within the cosmetics or FMCG sector. Proficiency in ERP and inventory management software, particularly Odoo, is important. The executive must demonstrate strong attention to detail, high integrity, and disciplined documentation skills to support Biocos commitment to quality and effective stock management. Responsibilities
 

• Perform quality inspection of all raw materials upon receipt to ensure compliance with established quality standards before acceptance into inventory.
• Conduct quality checks on finished goods prior to dispatch to maintain high product standards and customer satisfaction.
• Manage gate control procedures, including logging and verifying all inward and outward stock movement to ensure inventory accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of inventory, including stock levels, batch numbers, and movement logs, supporting routine stock reconciliations.
• Document all instances of quality rejections, coordinate corrective actions, and communicate findings to relevant departments to facilitate timely resolution.
• Utilize the barcode scanning system to enforce the policy of 'no movement without proper check and record', ensuring traceability and control over inventory.
• Support supply chain coordination by forecasting demand and supporting timely replenishment to optimize inventory levels and reduce stockouts or overstock situations.
• Collaborate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to streamline inventory processes and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Generate periodic reports on quality control findings, inventory status, discrepancies, and other relevant metrics to inform management decisions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to quality assurance and inventory management systems.
• Lead and guide a team member, providing direction and support to perform quality and inventory control tasks effectively.
• Continuously review and improve inventory management practices and quality control procedures to enhance accuracy, productivity, and compliance.
