Manager - Accounts & Finance (Afternoon Shift)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manager - Finance & Accounts to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a range of finance functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with established policies. This role demands strong analytical abilities, leadership skills, and the capacity to perform well under pressure. The position is full-time and requires in-person attendance, with a preference for candidates who are willing to work the afternoon shift.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise all finance functions including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, exception handling, and fixed asset accounting. Analyze periodic financial reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Review and reconcile financial data to maintain accuracy and completeness. Oversee the preparation of journal entries, adjustments, and the maintenance of financial records and statements. Assist in conducting financial and variance analyses to support informed business decisions. Ensure that all finance activities comply with client policies and quality standards. Lead, supervise, and participate in the appraisal and development of finance personnel to build a strong and effective team.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should be ACCA finalists or CA finalists with completed articleship. A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Finance & Accounts is essential, preferably with managerial experience. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance is required. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications is necessary. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are critical. The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines is a must.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
Experience in the BPO sector will be considered an advantage. Candidates must be willing to work the afternoon shift to be eligible for this role. This is a full-time, in-person position requiring commitment and dedication.
