In this position, you will manage a team of two, coordinating and overseeing their activities to ensure efficient financial operations. Key responsibilities include tracking expenses, billing clients, monitoring overdue payments, and preparing comprehensive financial reports. The role demands strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Excel to maintain accurate accounting records and support month-end closing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including creating and processing invoices and recording payments.
  • Regularly reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Follow up on overdue payments by sending reminders and resolving any billing or payment queries promptly.
  • Prepare detailed financial statements and reports for management analysis and decision-making.
  • Assist with budget preparation and monitor financial performance against budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, accounting standards, and legal regulations.
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of a two-person finance and accounts team, providing guidance and support to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Utilize ERP systems and Microsoft Excel to maintain and analyze financial data, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and reporting for better accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and filing systems for all financial transactions and reports.
