Junior Social Media Executive

We are looking for a proactive and creative Junior Social Media Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of social media platforms, strong writing skills, and a genuine interest in social media trends and content.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms
• Assist in planning, scheduling and managing social media content
• Write engaging captions, comments, reviews and other social media copy
• Handle seeding and threading across relevant social media platforms and communities
• Stay updated with the latest social media trends, viral content, and platform updates
• Conduct competitor and social media research to identify content ideas and opportunities
• Assist in preparing content calendars and social media plans
• Have hands-on experience with Canva and AI tools for creating and supporting social media content
• Monitor comments, messages and audience interactions
• Prepare basic presentations, reports and social media performance updates using PowerPoint
• Track basic engagement and social media performance metrics
• Coordinate with the creative, content and account management teams
• Manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience or prior internship experience in a digital marketing agency
• Good understanding of major social media platforms and how they work
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Good understanding of current social media trends and online audience behaviour
• Ability to write engaging and natural captions, comments, reviews and social media copy
• Have hands-on experience with Canva and AI tools
• Basic knowledge of PowerPoint and ability to prepare presentations
• Good understanding of social media management and content planning
• Proactive, organized and willing to learn
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced agency environment
• Good attention to detail and ability to take initiative

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs45,000.00 per month
