Java Architect

Avanza Solutions is seeking an experienced Java Architect to lead the design and development of robust software architecture solutions. The ideal candidate brings over 12 years of hands-on experience in software architecture design, with deep expertise in microservices architecture and the Spring Framework including Spring Boot. This role demands a strategic thinker who can define scalable and efficient system architectures that align with business goals and technical requirements. As the Java Architect, you will manage a team of 15 persons, guiding them through designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge Java-based solutions. Your leadership will ensure high-quality delivery and the adoption of best practices within the team. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across cross-functional teams to implement reliable software architectures that support Avanza Solutions' commitment to innovative technology solutions.
Responsibilities
 

• Lead the architecture design and development of scalable Java applications using microservices principles and the Spring ecosystem.
• Define technical standards and guidelines for software development to ensure consistent quality across projects.
• Manage and mentor a team of 15 software developers, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
• Oversee the end-to-end development process from requirements gathering, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks that will improve development efficiency and application performance.
• Ensure the implementation of security best practices and compliance with industry standards in all software solutions.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability to meet evolving user needs.
• Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to design patterns and architectural best practices within the Java development lifecycle.
• Promote continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows to improve build and deployment processes.
• Drive innovation by researching emerging trends in software architecture and integrating relevant advancements into existing systems.
• Provide clear technical guidance and documentation to support team knowledge sharing and onboarding.
