IT Executive

The IT Executive at DGTX Tax Consultancy plays a critical role in maintaining and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring that all hardware, software, and network systems operate efficiently. This position involves providing direct technical assistance to staff by diagnosing and resolving technical problems promptly. The role demands a proactive approach to IT system monitoring and maintenance to prevent disruptions and ensure continuity of business operations. In this role, the IT Executive works closely with employees to manage computer setups, troubleshoot various IT issues, and support network administration tasks. The position requires strong competencies in desktop support and IT troubleshooting with at least two years of relevant experience. While this role does not require managing a team, it demands effective communication skills and the ability to escalate complex issues to higher-level IT specialists when necessary to ensure smooth IT operations across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues promptly.
• Respond to IT support tickets efficiently and manage them until resolution to minimize downtime.
• Assist employees with the setup, installation, and troubleshooting of computers, printers, and other peripheral devices.
• Perform routine maintenance on IT equipment to ensure optimal performance and extended lifecycle.
• Install, configure, and apply updates for operating systems, software applications, and security patches to maintain system security and functionality.
• Monitor system performance continuously to detect and address potential issues proactively before they impact operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic network connectivity problems, supporting critical communication infrastructure.
• Assist in the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure network security and reliability.
• Maintain accurate and current network documentation and ensure regular data backups to protect organizational information assets.
• Ensure strict compliance with organizational IT policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain data integrity and security.
• Monitor IT systems for potential security vulnerabilities or breaches and escalate incidents according to protocol.
