D365 CRM Functional Consultant

Role Overview

We are looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Functional Consultant with 4–5 years of experience in implementing and configuring Dynamics 365 CE solutions. This role will focus on bridging business requirements with system capabilities, ensuring effective solution design and delivery. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in business analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and CRM solution implementation, and is comfortable working in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
• Configure and implement Dynamics 365 CRM solutions (Sales, Customer Service, or Marketing modules)
• Design business processes, workflows, and automation aligned with client needs
• Conduct workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder meetings
• Prepare functional design documents (FDD), user stories, and process flows
• Support UAT cycles, including test case preparation, execution, and validation
• Collaborate with technical teams for customizations and integrations
• Provide end-user training and documentation
• Support go-live and post-implementation activities
• Ensure solutions align with business goals, CRM best practices, and system capabilities

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365 CE
• Strong knowledge of D365 Sales and/or Customer Service modules
• Experience with Business Process Flows, Workflows, and Power Automate
• Hands-on experience with Dataverse and model-driven apps
• Proven experience in requirement gathering and stakeholder management
• Ability to create functional documentation and solution design artifacts
• Good understanding of CRM data models and security concepts
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Basic understanding of integrations (APIs, Azure, Power Platform)
• Experience with Customer Insights – Journeys (Marketing module) is a plus
• Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 or Power Platform are a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative, client-focused approach
