Cashier

Thali Nation Boulevard Mall is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier with at least one year of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate is proficient in cash handling and demonstrates excellent customer service skills. This role involves processing transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a balanced cash drawer, and ensuring a positive experience for all customers. The Cashier works independently and does not manage a team while supporting daily operations at the retail location.
Responsibilities
 

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their purchases.
• Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions using the point-of-sale system.
• Handle cash responsibly and maintain a balanced cash drawer throughout the shift.
• Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers as appropriate.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
• Respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to payments.
• Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service.
• Assist with inventory management by notifying supervisors of low stock or discrepancies.
• Adhere to all safety and security guidelines to prevent theft or fraud.
• Contribute to a positive and welcoming shopping environment.
