Job Description

Adamjee Insurance Company Limited seeks a diligent and skilled Assistant Manager - Credit Analyst to oversee credit risk and ensure thorough financial evaluations. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience in credit analysis and financial assessment, with strong communication and analytical abilities. This position focuses on performing detailed credit risk assessments, analyzing financial statements accurately, and ensuring compliance with credit policies to support sound lending decisions. The role involves producing comprehensive credit evaluation reports and utilizing risk modeling and data analysis techniques to minimize credit exposure. In this role, the Assistant Manager will collaborate closely with various departments to gather necessary financial information and monitor credit risk trends. Although team management is not part of this position, the role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Experience in retail banking credit operations is considered an advantage and will help enhance decision-making processes. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the credit portfolio's integrity by continuously analyzing credit quality and recommending appropriate actions to mitigate risk.
Responsibilities
 

  • Conduct thorough credit risk assessments by evaluating applicants' financial statements and credit histories.
  • Prepare detailed Credit Evaluation Reports (CER) that present clear and actionable insights to support credit decisions.
  • Ensure strict compliance with company credit policies and regulatory requirements throughout the credit analysis process.
  • Apply risk modeling techniques and data analysis tools to quantify potential credit exposures and assist in decision making.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to collect and verify financial data necessary for credit assessments.
  • Identify potential credit risks early by monitoring trends and changes in borrowers' financial conditions.
  • Provide expert recommendations to reduce credit risk while supporting business growth objectives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, regulatory changes, and market conditions affecting credit risk.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders to explain credit analysis findings and credit risk implications.
  • Work independently to manage multiple credit risk assessment assignments while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
