Wing Head – Budget & Expense Management (VP / SVP)

The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following position:

Position / Job Title:
Wing Head Budget & Expense Management (VP / SVP)

Reporting to:

Divisional Head Administration

Educational /Professional Qualification:

• Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college /
  institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan
• Candidates having Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance and / or professional
  qualification(s) in Accounting and / or Finance or in any relevant discipline would be
  preferred

Experience:

Minimum 08 years of experience in Costing & Budgeting and / or Financial Analysis and / or Expense Management, preferably in a Financial Sector

Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:
 

• Excellent data management and reconciliation skills
• Hands on experience on Advanced MS Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau reports for large data set handling
• Familiarity with ERP / Financial Systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Understanding of financial modelling, KPIs, and cost allocation methods
• Strong communication skills to present financial insights to non-technical teams
• Strong knowledge of budget preparation, forecasting, and monitoring

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:

• To develop and maintain annual, quarterly, and monthly budgets
• To conduct variance analysis and prepare insightful reports for management
• To design dashboards, automated reporting systems, and visualization tools for budget tracking
• To forecast and plan scenarios for cost control and strategic decision-making
• To supervise expense approval under proper head of accounts
• To analyze expense heads and arrange timely re-allocation, if budget is exhaustive
• To ensure provision of action confirmation to stakeholders where expenses were beyond their financial powers
• To make efforts for reduction in controllable expenses wherever possible
• To coordinate & liaise with Operations and other Groups / Regions / Branches / FCG and concerned stakeholders for budget / expense and fixed asset related issues / allocation / utilization
• To improve process flows and remove redundancies in carrying out various tasks
• To ensure attending queries raised from field functionaries and its timely response
• To process expense approval and reduce TAT
• To ensure provision of action to regions in cases where the associated expenditure
  exceeds their delegated financial authority
• To support audit and compliance teams by providing accurate financial data
• To mentor sub-ordinates and develop their skill-gap
• To provide recommendations for improving budget efficiency and resource allocation
• To ensure optimal utilization of resources
• To monitor end to end process of budget from allocation to utilization and EPS system
• To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Employment Type:

The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Banks Policy / rules.
