Accountant

The Accountant at CMDS Foil plays a crucial role in managing the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. This position involves preparing financial reports, handling tax preparations, and maintaining the general ledger. The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience in accounting and is proficient in using ERP software and accounting tools like Tally. Attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role. This role does not involve managing a team but requires collaboration across departments to gather financial data and support the company's financial management and decision-making processes. The Accountant ensures that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely, contributing to the overall fiscal health of CMDS Foil.
Responsibilities
 

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Manage the general ledger and perform regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy of accounts.
• Handle tax calculations, preparations, and filings in compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Utilize ERP and accounting software, including Tally, for maintaining and updating financial records.
• Monitor financial transactions and ensure they align with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing pertinent financial data and analysis.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to collect and verify financial information.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to financial reporting and tax obligations.
• Identify and recommend improvements to enhance the efficiency of financial processes and controls.
• Assist in internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and responding to inquiries.
