Tax Accountant

Job Description

Paramount Associates is seeking a diligent and meticulous Tax Accountant to join its finance team. This role involves preparing tax returns documentation and collaborating with Manager to resolve tax matters efficiently.

> Minimume education:       B.Com.

> Required  Experience:      2 to 3 years

Responsibilities
 

• Manage and prepare record  of sales tax returns, including collecting, reviewing, and submitting necessary data and annexures.
• Prepare quarterly advance income tax calculations and ensure accurate annual income tax return filings.
• Coordinate with managers to ensure timely submission of tax returns and address any tax-related queries or issues.
• Process weekly withholding tax payments and perform reconciliation to guarantee accuracy and legal compliance.
• Compile quarterly withholding tax statements and liaise with external tax consultants for timely submission.
• Maintain comprehensive and organized documentation for all tax filings, payments, and reconciliations to support audits and reporting.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of tax records to support financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
• Enhance internal controls related to tax processes by identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective procedures.
• Use accounting software and spreadsheet tools proficiently to organize tax data and generate reports.
• Apply analytical skills to review tax matters, identify discrepancies, and propose corrective actions where necessary.
• Work independently to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and compliance.
