LC Auditor

Job Description

People Perfect is looking for an experienced LC Auditor to perform Local Content (LC) verification and assurance engagements. The role involves reviewing financial records, validating client data, conducting audit procedures, and ensuring compliance with Local Content requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong audit experience, financial analysis skills, and the ability to manage client-facing assignments while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.

Responsibilities
 

• Conduct comprehensive audits of letters of credit and related trade finance documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
• Review and assess the effectiveness of internal controls surrounding trade finance operations and recommend improvements.
• Perform risk assessment and mitigation analysis related to letters of credit and associated financial transactions.
• Analyze financial statements and data to identify discrepancies, irregularities, and opportunities for process enhancements.
• Execute sampling and substantive audit testing procedures in accordance with established auditing standards.
• Prepare detailed audit working papers and documentation to support audit findings and conclusions.
• Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to discuss audit results and offer actionable recommendations.
• Utilize ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle to extract, analyze, and verify financial information relevant to audit assignments.
• Leverage advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Lookups, and Power Query, to analyze large data sets effectively.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of audit standards, industry regulations, and best practices in trade finance and letter of credit compliance.
• Manage workload efficiently and meet deadlines for multiple audit engagements without direct supervisory responsibilities.
• Travel to client locations as required to conduct on-site audits and gather necessary documentation.
