Fatimid Foundation is seeking a diligent Store Keeper with strong expertise in inventory management and stock control to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess between 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in storekeeping or inventory management, showcasing a solid understanding of inventory software and proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate records of materials and stock levels to ensure smooth operations within the foundation's supply chain. The Store Keeper is responsible for overseeing all aspects of stock control procedures, including order processing, material handling, packaging, and labeling. The role demands capability in performing stocktaking activities and utilizing inventory management systems efficiently. The successful candidate will work independently, maintaining proper documentation and ensuring the timely availability of stock without managing a team. This role is critical in supporting operational continuity and meeting organizational goals with precision and reliability.
Responsibilities
 

  • Manage incoming and outgoing inventory by accurately recording all stock transactions to maintain up-to-date records.
  • Conduct regular stocktaking and physical inventory counts to verify stock accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Operate and maintain inventory management systems to track stock levels, orders, and deliveries.
  • Oversee proper packaging and labeling of materials to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Coordinate order processing, including preparing purchase requisitions and verifying receipt of goods.
  • Handle materials safely and efficiently, implementing appropriate storage techniques to preserve quality.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation related to stock movements, deliveries, and inventory reports.
  • Monitor stock levels continuously and communicate effectively to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications for reporting, data analysis, and inventory tracking.
  • Implement stock control procedures to maintain an organized, efficient, and secure storage environment.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies during material handling and storage operations.
  • Support audit processes by providing accurate inventory records and assisting with inventory reviews.
  • Identify and report any issues related to stock discrepancies, damages, or losses promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly storage area to optimize space utilization and ensure ease of access.
