Our client EFU Life Assurance Ltd. is looking for a Actuarial Analyst - Corporate Health Benefits in Karachi

In this role, the Senior Officer plays a critical part in executing pool settlements and managing actuarial data related to corporate benefits, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all actuarial processes. The position demands an analytical mindset combined with problem-solving skills to address complex scenarios and support business growth. The role is open to candidates with up to one year of relevant experience or fresh graduates possessing a BBA or BS in Actuarial Sciences, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. Given that this position does not involve managing a team, the focus is placed on individual contribution and cross-functional collaboration, promoting a flexible and engaging work environment within EFU Life Assurance Ltd.

Responsibilities

 

  • Perform accurate and timely pricing for corporate health insurance clients to support business proposals and quotations.
  • Prepare and review internal documents, including Risk Pricing Data Files (RPDF), ensuring adherence to policy confirmations and regulatory requirements.
  • Execute pool settlements by analyzing and reconciling actuarial data to maintain accurate records and support financial integrity.
  • Collaborate effectively with Policy Setup, Information Technology, Marketing, Quotations, and Claims & Billing teams to resolve inquiries and provide actuarial insight for business decisions.
  • Analyze complex health insurance data to identify trends, assess risks, and develop pricing strategies that align with corporate objectives.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of actuarial processes and decisions to ensure transparency and ease of reference across cross-functional teams.
  • Manage workload efficiently by prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Communicate actuarial findings and pricing structures clearly to stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making and client engagement.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements and leveraging new analytical tools.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulatory frameworks related to corporate health insurance products.

     

We Are Looking For Someone Who

 

  • Holds a BBA, BS in Actuarial Sciences, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Has 0–1 year of relevant experience (fresh candidates are encouraged to apply).
  • Possesses strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Has excellent communication, coordination, and time management skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
