Site Supervisor

Job Description

The Home is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate activities at various project sites, primarily focusing on interior fit-outs. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of architectural and interior drawings, construction quality standards, and material knowledge. The Site Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all work aligns with approved designs and meets high-quality standards, while efficiently managing resources to achieve timely project completion. This position involves direct coordination with laborers, contractors, vendors, and suppliers to maintain smooth site operations. The Site Supervisor will lead a team of 10 people and act as the key point of contact for resolving site-related issues by collaborating closely with the design and project teams. The successful candidate must possess excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, demonstrate ownership of site responsibilities, and have the flexibility to travel to various site locations. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety are essential in this role.
Responsibilities
 

• Read, interpret, and understand architectural and interior drawings to guide site execution accurately.
• Supervise day-to-day site activities to ensure that work complies with construction quality standards and approved designs.
• Coordinate and manage contractors, labor teams, vendors, and suppliers to optimize workflow and resource usage.
• Monitor project schedules closely, prepare work plans, and ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality, progress, measurements, and material requirements, ensuring adherence to site inspection protocols.
• Identify and troubleshoot site issues promptly, providing effective solutions while coordinating with the design and project teams.
• Oversee the implementation of construction quality control procedures to maintain high standards on all sites.
• Facilitate smooth coordination among different trade teams to avoid delays and conflicts during site execution.
• Maintain detailed reports and documentation related to site progress, quality inspections, and resource management.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations at the site.
• Take ownership of the site environment, demonstrating responsibility and strong organizational skills to ensure successful project delivery.
• Travel to various project sites as required to provide onsite supervision and support.
