Job Description

Nazir Concrete is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician with at least four years of industrial experience to join our technical team. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical or Electronics and possesses strong practical knowledge in electrical wiring, circuit testing, and preventive maintenance. This position requires the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics accurately and confidently operate diagnostic tools such as multimeters. The Electrical Technician will play a vital role in maintaining the safe and efficient functioning of electrical systems, sensors, and programmable logic controllers within our industrial environment. The role demands a professional who can work independently during different shifts, ensuring continuous operation and minimal downtime. The candidate is expected to demonstrate solid troubleshooting skills and the capability to perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks effectively. Although this position does not involve managing a team, it requires working closely with other departments to identify and resolve electrical issues promptly. Responsibilities
 

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, circuits, and control systems according to industrial standards.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks on electrical equipment to prevent system failures and ensure optimal performance.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manufacturing manuals to carry out service and installation work accurately.
• Identify electrical faults using tools such as multimeters and other diagnostic devices and apply effective troubleshooting techniques.
• Work with sensors and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to install, test, and maintain automation systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all electrical maintenance and repair activities.
• Monitor electrical systems during plant operations and respond swiftly to resolve any issues or interruptions.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance work and equipment performance to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support electrical projects and process improvements.
• Operate independently during shift work, adhering to designated schedules and completing assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
