Job Description

The Sales Manager at AM Distributors is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and extend the company's global reach. This role requires building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with potential and existing clients by understanding and addressing their needs. The Sales Manager plays a key role in identifying business trends and analyzing quantitative metrics to guide decision-making that strengthens partner relationships and drives revenue growth. In addition to sales strategy and client management, the Sales Manager leads a team of two sales professionals. This includes recruiting, setting clear objectives, providing training and coaching, and monitoring their performance to ensure the team meets company sales quotas and standards. The role demands consistent oversight of daily operations, addressing knowledge gaps within the team, and managing critical month-end and year-end closing processes to maintain smooth business functioning.
Responsibilities
 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to expand the customer base and enhance market presence globally.
  • Engage with potential clients regularly to build trustworthy, long-lasting relationships by thoroughly understanding their business needs.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key quantitative metrics and market trends related to partner relationships to inform sales strategies and business decisions.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and coach sales team members, fostering their growth and ensuring high performance aligned with company goals.
  • Conduct frequent team meetings and daily check-ins to set clear objectives, monitor progress, and ensure the effective execution of sales activities.
  • Identify skill and knowledge gaps within the sales team and create targeted development plans to address them.
  • Oversee the sales teams performance to guarantee that sales quotas and company standards are consistently achieved.
  • Manage administrative procedures including month-end and year-end close activities to ensure accurate and timely sales reporting.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to align efforts and maximize customer satisfaction and sales effectiveness.
  • Analyze competitive market activity and adjust sales tactics accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
