Job Description

AM Distributors seeks a dedicated Product Sales Officer with a strong background in health-care sales to join our team. The ideal candidate holds a bachelors degree in a science or medical field and has a minimum of two years of experience selling healthcare products. This role requires a professional presence paired with excellent communication skills to effectively engage and build lasting relationships with customers. A deep understanding of sutures, Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) procedures, and other surgical consumable products is essential to succeed in this position. The Product Sales Officer focuses on generating leads, executing market research, and presenting product knowledge to drive sales growth in a competitive industry. The successful candidate does not manage a team but plays a critical role in enhancing customer satisfaction and expanding the companys market share through effective negotiation and presentation skills. They will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to relay market insights and contribute to sales strategies. A results-driven and proactive approach is necessary to adapt to changing market demands and establish AM Distributors as a trusted provider of surgical consumables within the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities
 

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to understand and meet client needs effectively.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay informed about industry trends.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge of sutures, CSSD processes, and surgical consumable products to educate customers and provide tailored solutions.
  • Generate and qualify leads to expand the customer base and increase sales revenue.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging presentations to healthcare professionals highlighting the features and benefits of company products.
  • Negotiate sales terms and close deals to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any client issues.
  • Monitor competitor activities and continuously assess market conditions to adjust sales approaches accordingly.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback using CRM tools.
  • Participate in training sessions and product launches to stay current with new offerings and improve sales techniques.
