We are currently seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team at Cafe KHUDEE, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality baked goods and desserts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage the pastry section of the kitchen, collaborating effectively with other chefs to maintain a smooth and productive working environment.
- Prepare ingredients and expertly handle baking and kitchen equipment to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Create a variety of pastries, baked goods, and confections by following established recipes with precision.
- Develop innovative recipes for seasonal menus to keep offerings fresh and appealing.
- Decorate pastries and desserts to achieve visually attractive and tasteful presentations.
- Consult with customers to plan and customize desserts and pastries for special occasions such as weddings, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies regularly.
- Order necessary supplies, ingredients, and equipment for the pastry section in a timely manner, adhering to budget constraints.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations within the pastry section of the kitchen.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff as needed to maintain high standards and efficient operations.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry preparation, and dessert decoration.
- Ability to develop new recipes and adapt to seasonal menu changes.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with kitchen safety and hygiene standards.
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Capability to manage inventory and place orders within budgetary limits.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience working in a café or hospitality setting is advantageous.
- Ability to train and mentor junior staff members.
- Full-time position with working hours from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM PST.
- Location: DHA Phase 4, Karachi.
