Oracle FLEXCUBE Subject Matter Expert (SME)

We are seeking an experienced Oracle FLEXCUBE Subject Matter Expert (SME) with 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in the core banking domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both implementation and production support of Oracle FLEXCUBE, with proven expertise in managing end-to-end projects and supporting critical banking operations. This role requires deep functional knowledge of core banking processes, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with business users, technical teams, and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation & Consulting:
Participate actively in full lifecycle Oracle FLEXCUBE implementation projects. Lead requirement gathering sessions, conduct fit-gap analysis, and facilitate solution design workshops. Configure and parameterize FLEXCUBE modules to align with business needs. Prepare essential documentation such as Functional Specifications (FSD), Business Requirement Documents (BRD), System Design Documents (SDD), test cases, and deployment plans. Support data migration efforts and oversee System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover, and go-live activities. Collaborate with technical teams on customizations, interfaces, and system integrations.

Production Support:
Provide Level 2 and Level 3 application support for Oracle FLEXCUBE environments. Analyze and resolve production issues within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and recommend permanent solutions to prevent recurrence. Manage end-of-day (EOD), beginning-of-day (BOD) batch monitoring, reconciliation, and other operational tasks. Handle incident, problem, and change request management efficiently. Liaise with Oracle Support for service request (SR) management and timely issue resolution.

Functional Expertise:
Serve as a functional SME for various FLEXCUBE Core Banking modules. Offer business process and product expertise to stakeholders and assess the impact of system enhancements or regulatory changes. Support release planning, testing, and deployment activities to ensure smooth transitions.

Required Qualifications

- 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE.
- Completion of at least two full-cycle FLEXCUBE implementation projects.
- Strong background in production support and application maintenance.
- Experience in upgrades, migrations, and enhancement initiatives.
- Proven ability to interact directly with business users, operations teams, and senior stakeholders.
- Solid banking domain knowledge, preferably in Retail and/or Corporate Banking.
- Expertise in one or more FLEXCUBE modules such as Customer Information File (CIF), CASA, Deposits, Loans & Advances, Payments, Teller, Trade Finance, Limits & Collateral, and Treasury (preferred).
- Technical skills including understanding FLEXCUBE product architecture, SQL/PL-SQL query writing, troubleshooting, and experience with FLEXCUBE interfaces, APIs, and web services.
- Familiarity with batch processing, EOD/EOM cycles, integration troubleshooting, and UNIX/Linux environments.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
