The Manager Sales Operations (CRC & GI) is responsible for supporting the sales performance of CRC & GI products for all regions/segments. The role ensures sharing the complete visibility of achievement of sales targets, effective execution of orders, accurate SAP processing, OBDs, Billing and customer satisfaction through proactive relationship management. 

 

      The position bridges strategic direction from the GM Commercial with frontline execution, ensuring alignment of sales operations, market          coverage, and collections with company objectives. The incumbent also plays a vital role in mentoring Executives/Sr. Executives, ensuring            operational discipline, and supporting market growth initiatives


Responsibilities
 

Sales Operations and SAP Activities

·       Manage and oversee all SAP Sales Operations activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of sales transactions.

·       Support and guide Sales Coordinators and Sales Teams in the creation and management of Sales Orders (SO), Outbound Deliveries (OBD), billing, and other SAP sales processes.

·       Create, maintain, and govern Customer Master Data, including new customer onboarding, data validation, and master data updates.

·       Create and maintain Material Master records, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational standards.

·       Serve as the primary point of contact for SAP-related sales operations issues, troubleshooting system errors and coordinating resolutions with IT and relevant stakeholders.

·       Monitor and improve sales order processing workflows, identifying process gaps and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

 

 

 

 

Customer Reconciliation

·       Regularly reconcile customer ledgers in SAP SD to maintain accuracy.

·       Provide timely and effective responses to customer queries and complaints through regional teams.

 

Order Booking and Dispatch Management

·       Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Logistics, and IT teams to ensure seamless execution of end-to-end order fulfillment processes.

·       Train, mentor, and provide ongoing SAP functional support to sales operations personnel to ensure effective system utilization.

·       Develop and maintain sales operations reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support business decision-making and operational excellence.

·        Drive sales growth by managing Dealer Partners (DPs), OEMs, and end users.

·        Provide Complete data visibility to ensure balanced sales mix (skews) and promote range selling.

·        Ensure accurate order booking in SAP SD with zero rejections.

·        Monitor dispatches, resolve delivery-related issues, & ensure on-time, in-full deliveries.

·        Coordinate with Production, QA, and Logistics teams for smooth execution.

 

Market Intelligence & Reporting

·        Sales Ops Manager to visit regions and conduct regular market visits to gather competitor intelligence once in a quarter.

·        Provide timely market feedback and competitor activity reports to management through a dashboard.

·        Analyze sales trends and suggest actionable strategies.

 

Team Support & Coordination

·        Guide and support Sales Executives and Junior Sales Executives in daily activities.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer and operational issues.

 

Compliance & Governance

·        Ensure strict adherence to company SOPs, sales policies, and audit requirements.

·        Maintain proper documentation and compliance in all sales-related activities.
