Job Description

The Instructor Blood Transfusion at Fatimid Foundation plays a critical role in overseeing and delivering comprehensive training programs related to blood transfusion practices. This position involves educating healthcare professionals on essential topics including blood transfusion safety, donor recruitment and retention, component preparation, and adherence to regulatory compliance. The instructor is responsible for ensuring that all training materials and procedures align with current blood transfusion guidelines and standard operating procedures to promote high-quality and safe transfusion services. Managing a team of 20 persons, the instructor leads efforts to maintain and improve blood transfusion practices within the organization. This role requires a strong background in transfusion medicine combined with effective leadership skills that foster a collaborative learning environment. The instructor is expected to utilize their expertise to mentor team members, coordinate training initiatives, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards that impact the safe administration of blood transfusions across the foundation's resources.
Responsibilities
 

• Develop and implement training programs focused on blood transfusion safety, component preparation, and donor recruitment and retention.
• Lead and manage a team of 20 professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations to ensure effective delivery of training and compliance with protocols.
• Ensure all training content and procedures are compliant with national and international blood transfusion guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies to stay updated on changes in blood transfusion standards and incorporate necessary adjustments into training materials.
• Monitor adherence to standard operating procedures across blood transfusion activities and initiate corrective actions where necessary.
• Facilitate workshops, seminars, and hands-on sessions to educate staff on safe transfusion practices and promote awareness of transfusion-related risks.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions through feedback and performance metrics, and continuously improve training methodologies.
• Support the recruitment and retention of blood donors by educating staff on best practices and the importance of donor management.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to integrate blood transfusion safety protocols within broader clinical practices.
• Prepare reports on training outcomes, team performance, and compliance status for organizational leadership.
