  • Entity: Baitussalam Welfare Trust (BWT)
  • Location: Head Office, Karachi

The HR Executive (Talent Acquisition & People Operations) will lead end-to-end talent acquisition, performance management, employee onboarding/offboarding, and staff engagement initiatives across all BWT entities—including the Head Office, regional branches, medical laboratories, Jamia, BMI, and STEM schools. This role directly unburdens operational leadership by taking complete ownership of candidate pipelines and talent development processes.

3. Key Responsibilities

A. Talent Acquisition & Headhunting (Primary Mandate)

  • Own end-to-end recruitment for all entities (Head Office, educational institutions, medical labs, and regional branches), managing 5–8 active requisitions simultaneously.
  • Create structured job postings, source candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, and targeted headhunting.
  • Conduct preliminary HR interviews, evaluate candidate cultural fit, and coordinate technical evaluations with department heads.
  • Negotiate offers, issue appointment letters, and ensure timely closure of critical staffing positions.

B. Onboarding, Offboarding & Employee Lifecycle

  • Design and facilitate a structured onboarding program for new joiners across all educational and welfare entities.
  • Ensure 100% compliance on pre-employment documentation, credential verification, and reference checks.
  • Manage employee separation workflows: conduct formal exit interviews, identify attrition trends, coordinate asset returns, and hand off clearance documentation to Payroll for final settlement.

C. Performance Management & Appraisals

  • Lead the annual and mid-year performance appraisal cycles across all departments and satellite entities.
  • Train department heads and branch supervisors on objective setting, KPI evaluation, and constructive feedback mechanisms.
  • Compile appraisal scorecards, maintain performance documentation, and coordinate performance-linked increments or corrective action plans with leadership.

D. Employee Engagement, Events & Welfare

  • Act as the HR lead for institutional events (e.g., BWT Olympiad, conferences, annual gatherings), managing staff participation, duty deployments, and recognition awards.
  • Implement staff engagement initiatives and wellness programs to promote employee morale across disparate entities.
  • Act as a neutral sounding board for employee grievances, conducting initial inquiries and mediating conflicts before formal escalation.

E. Policy Implementation & HR Analytics

  • Assist in reviewing and updating HR policies, ensuring alignment with institutional values and statutory labor laws.
  • Maintain recruitment and attrition dashboards, presenting monthly hiring velocity, turnover ratios, and source effectiveness reports to leadership.

4. Candidate Specifications & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resource management (BBA/MBA HR) or relevant social sciences.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of progressive experience in HR Generalist, Talent Acquisition, or People Operations
