Job Description

EFU Life Assurance Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Executive Officer with at least two years of experience in financial management and analysis. The successful candidate demonstrates strong expertise in financial modelling, proficient use of Excel and Bloomberg, and excellent communication skills to clearly articulate investment ideas. Although this position does not involve managing a team, it plays a critical role in supporting the company's financial decision-making processes and contributing to the overall success of the investment strategy. The Executive Officer works closely with various departments to gather relevant financial data, analyze market trends, and prepare comprehensive reports that aid senior management in making informed decisions. The role demands meticulous attention to detail and the ability to present complex financial information effectively in verbal and written formats. Responsibilities
 

  • Analyze financial data and market trends to support investment decisions and company strategy.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast and assess investment opportunities and risks.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports using Excel and Bloomberg tools to present to senior management.
  • Articulate investment ideas clearly and confidently in verbal presentations and written documents.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather and verify financial information ensuring accuracy.
  • Identify discrepancies or issues in financial data and apply problem-solving skills to resolve them.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and work ethic in all financial analysis and reporting tasks.
  • Stay updated with industry developments and financial regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Support the finance team with routine tasks related to budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Assist in the evaluation of new financial products and investment strategies to maximize company performance.
