Child Caregiver

Job Description

We are looking for a well-educated, responsible, and caring individual who can manage childcare along with basic home tutoring for young children (ages 5–7). The ideal candidate should be able to handle children with patience, discipline, and a structured approach to learning.

✅ Key Responsibilities

Childcare Duties:

• Full-day care of children (routine, meals, hygiene)
• Preparing children for school and managing daily schedules
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment

Teaching / Tutoring:

• Teaching basic subjects (English, Mathematics, General Knowledge)
• Assisting with homework and daily revision
• Creating and following a consistent study routine
• Monitoring children’s academic progress

Additional Tasks:

• Engaging children in productive activities (reading, storytelling, learning games)
• Managing screen time and encouraging positive habits

Responsibilities
 

• Supervise and monitor the daily activities of children aged 5 to 7, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Implement developmentally appropriate care practices that promote the physical, emotional, and social growth of each child.
• Apply consistent, positive behavior management techniques to encourage discipline, good manners, and positive social skills.
• Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals and snacks while monitoring dietary habits that support healthy growth.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in children’s living, learning, and play areas to prevent illness and discomfort.
• Deliver basic academic tutoring in English, Mathematics, and General Knowledge tailored to the children’s individual learning needs.
• Assist with daily homework completion, revision sessions, and establish consistent study routines to support academic progress.
• Engage children with creative and educational activities such as reading, storytelling, and learning games to stimulate curiosity and creativity.
• Manage screen time effectively by encouraging positive habits that contribute to balanced developmental growth.
• Administer basic first aid promptly and accurately while prioritizing child safety and responding effectively to emergencies.
• Establish and maintain structured daily routines to provide a sense of security, predictability, and stability.
• Communicate regularly and clearly with parents or guardians to report on children’s health, behavior, academic development, and daily experiences.
• Show empathy, patience, and understanding to address the social and emotional needs of children and support their confidence and resilience.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and childcare best practices to minimize risks and prevent accidents.
