Hamdard Pakistan seeks an experienced Assistant Manager Engineering specializing in Electrical Instrumentation to lead and oversee critical engineering projects within the organization. This role demands a knowledgeable professional with at least five years of hands-on experience in managing electrical and instrumentation systems. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation, maintenance, and calibration of control systems while managing a team of two engineering personnel to achieve operational excellence. Strong leadership and project management abilities are essential to coordinate interdisciplinary efforts and deliver results aligned with company standards and timelines. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree and exhibits a robust technical background in electrical instrumentation, including expertise in control systems and troubleshooting. This position requires a proactive individual capable of coordinating instrumentation calibration and maintenance activities alongside their team, ensuring system reliability and compliance with industry standards. By leveraging strong analytical and organizational skills, the Assistant Manager Engineering will contribute to optimizing project workflows and enhancing process efficiencies within Hamdard Pakistan's engineering division.
Responsibilities
 

  • Lead and manage a team of two engineers to execute electrical instrumentation projects ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee project management activities from initiation through completion to meet project deliverables on time and within budget.
  • Conduct regular instrumentation calibration and preventive maintenance to maintain optimal functionality of control systems and electrical equipment.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot instrumentation and control system issues promptly to minimize equipment downtime and operational disruptions.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures and best practices for instrumentation calibration, maintenance, and testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, and quality assurance to enhance system integration and performance.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project progress updates to inform senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant electrical and instrumentation codes, regulations, and safety protocols in all engineering activities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and technology upgrades to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering skills development and continuous improvement.
