Role Description This is an, on-site Aviation Security Instructor role based in Karāchi. The Aviation Security Instructor will deliver classroom and practical training on aviation security principles, regulations, and best practices to learners, staff, and other stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include developing training materials, lesson plans, and assessments that align with national and international aviation security standards. The instructor will conduct lectures, simulations, and scenario-based exercises on topics such as access control, passenger and baggage screening, aircraft security, and threat identification. Additional duties include evaluating learner performance, maintaining accurate training records, updating course content in response to regulatory changes, and supporting audits and inspections related to training compliance. The role may also involve collaborating with other instructors and departments to integrate security concepts into broader aviation training programs.
Qualifications

 

• Strong technical understanding of aircraft, aircraft systems, and powerplant fundamentals, with the ability to relate these to aviation security risks and mitigation.
• Practical knowledge of aircraft maintenance environments and procedures to contextualize security training in operational settings.
• Demonstrated training skills, including curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom delivery, and learner assessment.
• Familiarity with national and international aviation security regulations, standards, and guidance (e.g., ICAO, local civil aviation authority).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups of learners.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate documentation and training records.
• Relevant aviation or security qualification or certification; a degree or diploma in aviation, security management, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in aviation security, airline or airport operations, or aviation training is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Karāchi, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and adapt to evolving security threats and regulatory changes.
