Accounts & Inventory Assistant – ERP & Document ManagementLocation: Sindh Industrial Trading Estate (S.I.T.E.), Karachi, Pakistan

Remuneration: Market Competitive SalaryPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts & Inventory Assistant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for processing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate ledger and inventory postings, and ensuring rigorous digital document management. The ideal candidate will maintain financial data integrity by systematically uploading and filing source documents directly into our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided to help you upgrade your technical ERP skills and advance your career.Key ResponsibilitiesPosting & Bookkeeping

  • Accurately post daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries into the ERP system.
  • Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and petty cash balances daily.
  • Verify invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims for accuracy before processing.

Inventory Management

  • Post stock transactions into the ERP, including stock movements, goods received notes (GRNs), and warehouse transfers.
  • Cross-check physical stock counts against ERP ledger balances to identify and flag discrepancies.
  • Update material costs and stock valuations in the system under the supervision of senior finance staff.

Filing & Digital Uploading

  • Scan and digitally upload source documents (receipts, invoices, delivery challans) directly into relevant ERP modules.
  • Maintain an organized, easily searchable digital filing system for all financial and tax documentation.
  • Manage physical archiving of critical financial records in compliance with local regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of proven experience in accounting support, bookkeeping, or stock ledger handling.
  • Software: Foundational knowledge of ERP software or mid-tier accounting platforms.
  • Core Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude, sharp attention to detail, and a firm grasp of local bookkeeping practices.
  • Mindset: Quick learner with a strong desire to upgrade professional skills through structured training.
