Job Description

Nat Technology Pvt Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant with a strong foundation in financial reporting, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in an accounting environment and be capable of maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with various accounting functions. This role requires excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure financial data integrity and compliance with company policies. The Accounting Assistant supports multiple accounting tasks including managing accounts payable and receivable, performing reconciliations, assisting with payroll, and preparing financial reports under the supervision of senior accountants. Though this position does not involve team management, it demands effective communication skills to coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments to address accounting inquiries and discrepancies promptly.
Responsibilities
 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including ledgers, journals, and databases, organizing both physical and digital financial documents systematically.
  • Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents to ensure timely accounts payable and receivable management.
  • Perform thorough bank and credit card reconciliations, identify discrepancies swiftly, and resolve issues to maintain accurate transaction records.
  • Assist in preparing detailed financial reports, summaries, and statements such as balance sheets and income statements under senior accountant supervision.
  • Support payroll processing by verifying employee work hours, calculating required deductions, and assisting with paycheck distribution efficiently.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve accounting discrepancies and respond to account-related inquiries.
  • Aid in audit preparations by collecting, organizing, and presenting all necessary financial documents and records for smooth external and internal audits.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel effectively to analyze financial data, create reports, and manage spreadsheets with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Adhere to internal controls and company policies to ensure compliance and safeguard company financial data.
  • Continuously update knowledge of accounting regulations and best practices to contribute to the improvement of accounting processes.
