Role Summary
For this role, we are seeking a highly analytical, commercially minded, and detail-oriented Investment Associate to support Harrath Capital across its private equity, real estate, and venture capital investment strategies.
This role is suitable for someone with a strong finance, investment, accounting, or consulting background who can identify new opportunities, assess live opportunities, conduct market research, build financial models, support due diligence, and prepare high-quality investment materials.
You will work closely with the team and CEO to evaluate new investment opportunities, progress current opportunities, and support the investment process from initial screening through to execution.
This is a core investment role, offering exposure to deal sourcing, financial analysis, valuation, investment papers, due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and strategic growth initiatives.
Role Responsibilities
Investment Analysis & Deal Evaluation
• Source, review and assess new investment opportunities across private equity, real estate, and venture capital
• Conduct financial analysis, valuation, benchmarking, and return modelling
• Build financial models to support investment decisions
• Analyse business models, market position, risks, financial performance, and growth potential
• Prepare investment summaries and opportunity reviews
Market Research
• Research sectors, companies, markets, and economic trends
• Identify attractive investment themes, targets, assets, and market opportunities
• Prepare sector research, competitor analysis, and screening reports
• Monitor relevant market, regulatory, and industry developments
Due Diligence & Transaction Support
• Support commercial, financial, legal, operational, and strategic due diligence
• Review financial information, company documents, contracts, leases, and transaction materials
• Coordinate with advisors, lawyers, accountants, and transaction parties
• Prepare due diligence trackers, data room materials, and transaction updates
• Support deal structuring, negotiation analysis, and execution
Portfolio & Investment Monitoring
• Monitor portfolio companies, investments, and real estate assets
• Track KPIs, financial performance, operational progress, and value creation plans
• Prepare portfolio updates, investor reports, dashboards, and internal summaries
• Support growth, fundraising, acquisition, and operational improvement projects
Investor Materials & Communication
• Prepare investment memoranda, pitch decks, financial summaries, and presentations
• Support investor reports, market updates, and deal summaries
• Present financial information clearly and professionally
Additional Duties
• Support deal origination through research and target identification
• Maintain investment pipelines, CRM records, market databases, and deal trackers
• Assist with wider projects across strategy, fundraising, partnerships, acquisitions, and business development
• Support ad hoc tasks and projects as required across the firm

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Investment Management, Real Estate, or a related field
• 1 to 2 years of experience in investment analysis, private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, real estate investment, venture capital, consulting, or equity research
• Financial modelling and valuation experience preferred
• Experience preparing investment memoranda, pitch decks, transaction papers, or board materials is advantageous
• Exposure to M&A, fundraising, portfolio management, or transaction execution is beneficial
